This page explains what is stored on your device when you visit invoqapp.com. The short version: we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — only after you accept on the consent banner. We don’t run advertising pixels and we don’t share visitor data with third-party marketing platforms.
1. What we set
The marketing website (invoqapp.com) does not set any first-party cookies of its own. We use localStorage to remember your consent choice (the key invoq.consent) so you aren’t asked on every visit. This data never leaves your browser.
If you accept on the consent banner, Google Analytics will set the cookies listed below. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics requests are sent.
2. Third-party requests
| Provider | Purpose | Sets cookies? |
|---|---|---|
| Google Fonts | Loads the Fraunces, Inter, and JetBrains Mono typefaces. | No. Fonts are served as static files; the request includes only your IP address (logged briefly for abuse prevention). |
| Netlify | Hosts the website. Edge servers may log IP addresses for security and rate-limiting. | No marketing cookies. A short-lived session cookie may be set for DDoS protection. |
| Google Analytics (GA4) | Measures aggregate site usage (pages viewed, referrer, country). IP addresses are anonymised. Loaded only after consent. | Yes, after consent: _ga (2 years), _ga_<container> (2 years). |
3. Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation and Google Consent Mode v2. Analytics scripts are loaded with consent defaulted to denied; they only fire after you click Accept on the consent banner. We do not enable Google Signals, advertising features, or cross-device tracking.
The data we receive is aggregated traffic information (pages viewed, referrer, approximate country, device type). We do not use it to identify individual visitors.
4. The iOS app
The invoq iOS app does not use cookies. The data we collect through the app is described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Your controls
- You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing
invoq.consentfrom localStorage; the banner will reappear on your next visit. - You can block third-party requests at the browser level using a content blocker.
- You can opt out of Google Analytics globally with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
